New Baptism in Our Parish

With profound joy, on the eve of the radiant Feast of the Holy Transfiguration of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, we welcomed into the Holy Orthodox Church our newly-illumined brother in Christ, Andrew, through the Mystery of Holy Baptism. This is a great blessing for our parish community of the Holy Resurrection, as we celebrate both the glory of our Lord’s Transfiguration and Andrew’s entrance into the life of the Church, becoming a partaker of the uncreated Light of Mount Tabor. We prayerfully ask the Lord to strengthen him as a faithful servant, a steadfast warrior for Christ, and a true member of His holy flock. May it be for many years!
