"As many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ." (Galatians 3:27)
With gratitude to our Lord Jesus Christ and by the goodness, mercy, and grace of God, our parish was blessed to welcome our dear brother Ambrose and our dear sister Cassiani into the Holy Orthodox Church through the Holy Mystery of Baptism on June 19, 2026.
It was a truly blessed and joyful day as they were buried with Christ in the waters of Baptism, clothed in Him, sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit through Holy Chrismation, and united to His Holy Church.
The following Sunday, accompanied with their God-parents Ed Blain and Yuliana, they approached the Holy Chalice for the first time and received the Most Holy Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ, completing their initiation into the life of the Church and entering the safe haven of the Ark of Salvation.
Their journey has only just begun—the lifelong path of repentance, prayer, faithfulness, and growth in Christ, as they press on toward the blessed Kingdom of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Please keep Ambrose and Cassiani in your prayers, that the Lord may strengthen them to preserve the grace of their Baptism, carry the cross entrusted to them with faith and perseverance, and remain steadfast in His Holy Church all the days of their lives.
Welcome home, dear Ambrose and Cassiani!
Εἰς πολλὰ ἔτη! Many blessed years!

God bless you all
