A Family Clothed in Christ
Today, by the grace of God, on the Sixteenth Sunday after Pentecost and the eve of the Feast of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos, our parish rejoiced as five new members were received into Christ’s Holy Church through the Mystery of Holy Baptism: Joshua, Emilia, Paul, Elizabeth, and John.
Following the Divine Liturgy, they were clothed in Christ and united to His Holy Body, the Church. It was a truly blessed and joyful day for our entire parish family.
May the Lord preserve our newly illumined brothers and sisters in the Orthodox Faith and grant them many blessed years!
As many as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. Alleluia!
