A Blessed Day at Holy Resurrection of Christ Parish - Baptism of Ambrose (Ethan)

On the Eve of the radiant feast of the Dormition of the Most Holy Theotokos, August 27, 2025, our parish rejoiced as our brother in Christ, Ethan, was illumined through the holy Mystery of Baptism in the name of the All-Holy Trinity, receiving the name Ambrose.

With this holy sacrament, our new brother has been clothed in Christ and enlisted as a soldier of the Crucified and Risen Lord, entering the spiritual arena to “fight the good fight” (1 Tim. 6:12) for the Kingdom of Heaven.

We pray that the Lord will strengthen him with the grace of the Holy Spirit, grant him victory over the adversary of mankind, and make him a bold confessor of the Orthodox Faith and a faithful member of Christ’s Holy Church, His Mystical Body.

Many blessed years to you, dear Ambrose! May the Most Holy Theotokos, whose Dormition we now celebrate, ever guard and guide you beneath her protecting veil!
